Terms of Use
Use ResumeBolt to build resumes. It is provided as-is, it runs in your browser, and you own everything you create with it.
Last updated: 10 July 2026
The tool
ResumeBolt is a free, client-side resume builder. The core builder, the Classic template, printing to PDF, and autosave are free to use. An optional one-time Pro upgrade unlocks extra templates, an accent color picker, multiple saved resumes, and JSON backup.
Your content is yours
You keep all rights to the resumes and text you create. We claim no ownership over your content and, because everything is stored locally, we never even receive it.
Pro licenses
The Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase sold through Gumroad. A license key unlocks Pro features on the devices where you enter it. Please do not share, resell, or publish license keys. Refunds are handled under Gumroad's policies.
Acceptable use
Do not use ResumeBolt to create fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful documents. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put on your resume.
No warranty
ResumeBolt is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to keep the output clean and ATS-parseable, we cannot guarantee that any particular applicant tracking system, employer, or recruiter will accept or correctly read your resume, or that using it will result in interviews or offers.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeBolt and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool, including lost opportunities or lost data. Keep your own backups of anything important — the JSON export (Pro) exists for this reason.
Changes
These terms may be updated over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
