Terms of Use

Use InvoiceBolt to make invoices. It runs in your browser and is provided as-is. That is most of it.

The service

InvoiceBolt is a free, browser-based invoice generator. The core generator — editing, live preview, totals, and print-to-PDF — is free to use with no account. An optional one-time Pro unlock adds a logo, saved clients and history, JSON backup, extra themes, and removes the footer watermark.

Your invoices are yours

You own everything you create with InvoiceBolt. We claim no rights over your invoices, business details, or client information, and we never see them — they stay in your browser.

Pro purchases

Pro is a one-time purchase sold through Gumroad. Your license key unlocks Pro features on any device where you paste and verify it. Refunds, receipts, and billing questions are handled by Gumroad under their terms. Keep your license key safe; it is your proof of purchase.

Accuracy is your responsibility

InvoiceBolt calculates totals, taxes, and discounts from the numbers you enter, but it is a document tool, not tax or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying that every invoice is correct and compliant with the rules that apply to you before sending it.

Availability & "as-is"

The tool is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Because your data lives only in your browser, we are not responsible for data lost to cleared storage, browser issues, or device failure. Back up important invoices with the Pro export feature.

Acceptable use

Do not use InvoiceBolt to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful documents. You are solely responsible for how you use the invoices you generate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceBolt and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool. Since the product is free (or a low, one-time fee), any liability is limited to the amount you paid, if any.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
